This week, we talk about our experience at the unique Wings for Life World Run in Southern California. Seven things runners do on long runs but probably don’t admit. Roger Bannister ran the first sub 4 minute mile sixty years ago today. A three time Chicago Marathon champ is banned for doping. And our week in training.

Wow – sounds like Wings was a fun, unique event. Congratulations on your distances. The podcast was interesting – listened while taking my Golden Retriever on his morning mile walk and then finished while running a few miles in the beautiful hills of East Tennessee. Perfect weather – 53 F, clear, no wind – and an interesting podcast made for a great run. Thanks. Alan
Sounds like a perfect day, and a perfect place for a run.
Thanks for listening.
